I think the reaon that the Author wrote this book so that he can show that no matter your situation therer is always hope and if you give up and don't do anything when you have a problem then you won't get anywhere. Everyday in this book eragon was trying to do something to stop King Glabtorix and if we doesn't contui this then therre is a great chance then The king will win. And thats Eragon NEVER gives up.

My New Theme

I have changed my theme for this book from the old one. The old theme that i ahd this book portrayed more of the beginning of this book but it has changed a lot since then and now i'm going to say that my theme is Hardwork and practice is the best thing to perfect your skills. I say that this is my new theme because most of this book was Eragon and Saphira training and working every single day all so that he can get better at fighting.

Arya: Changes throughout the Book

Arya is the Elf tha becomes super important. Arya at the start of the book is very quiet and mysterious, she will give her opion on the important things in the Varden but besides that she didn't say to much. She always seemed like she was mad or sad but for everyone she was very hard to figure out but things satrted to change when they got on the rode towards her home. She had started to open up to eragon and she would talk and laugh, it was like a whole new person came with them. Arya is a very intresting character and now that she is always happy yuo never know what could happen betweeen her and Eragon.

Why i think Eldest was Wrote

I think that Eldest was wrote to contuine on the Very succesful first book of Eragon. Both of the books in this series were wroten different and you can tell how the author really changed and improved in his writing abilitly. Another reason that Eldest may have been wrote was to show how hard and important Eragons training with Oromis is.

Character Comparsion

I think in this book Eragon really compares to Strider of the Lord of the Rings series. Both these two were outragously brave and willing to give there life to save anothers. I think that if you switched the characters in the books that it would not really be all that different. These two are great characters in there bookn and both series are very good.

Eragon's Personalitly

I think that there were plenty of moments that defined Eragon as a good charcter but the moment in this book that i got the most out of was the big battle of Farthern Dur. I thought that this was such a cool moment in this book because Eragon was so untrained but he went out and fought Durza the shade... and in the end eragon killed Durza and this changed a lot. He became ERagon the Shadeslayer but i thought this was so special because it rea;lly showed how brave eragon was because he fought and killed Durza even though only like 2 shades had been killed and it really was just a great example of how good of a character Eragon is.

If i had a Conversation with Brom

If i got to have a conversation with Brom it would be very long and i thinnk that he would get irrated with me for asking so many questions. Brom was my favorite character in the book until he died but i would ask him about why he would never tell Eragon is past life.I would want to know how he killed Morzan and all of those Forsworn Riders when he didn't even have his Dragon. I would want to know whty he liked Morzan so much, because Brom was always so wise in his time in the book and why he couldn't see that Morzan was no good. I would want to know a lot of things but my main question would be why he would never tell Eragon about hes PAST.

Roran

Roran started at the beginning of this sseries as nothing more than an everyday kid who lived on his own farm. He didn't know that when he left that his home would be burnt to pieces and his cuzin(Eragon) would be gone only having a note to say that the empire would be after him. The empire showed up at the carvhall so he hid in the mountains until they started killing people of the city, and thats when he became Roran Stronghammer. Roran had changed from that little Farm boy to a deadly warrior all so that he could protect Katrina from death.

Eldest: Current things that are happening

In Eragon right now, he has travled all the way out of the Beor Mountains and reached his destination Ellsmera. So far there have been some huge suprises in the Elven kingdom. Eragon found out that Arya was the long banished Princess of Ellsmera and that her mother has missed her very much. But the biggest surprise that has happenend for the whole book series was that there was another rider that nobody knew about. So Eragon had relief to know that he was not the only rider and it mde him feel much better.

Book Recommendation

Eldest, has been one of the books that i have read and if you have read Eragon then you will like it more because if you don't read it then a lot of what happens will not make since. But one of the things that i really like about this book is how they take you through three different characters story's throughout the whole book. They follow Eragon the most, then the follow Roran a lot, but they also follow the Varden as the make there way to Surda. But i recommend this book to all its very action packed but it also has a cool part of just a bunch of story telling and nice relaxing calmness where everyone is just nice and happy. So if you want to read a great book series full of action and magic then thois is the book for you and i highly recommend it.

Eargon Series: setting

Throughout the whole series there has not been one clear out setting but they have been in the same set of land. They have been in Alagasia and it is described as a very old type of place it sounds like a lord of the rings set-up lots of farms, mountains, city's, and caves. He travels all of this land getting in fights with different weird creatures and he is a strong warrior but as the book goes on Alagasia starts to change and it becomes a dark evil place and Eargon is the only hope.

Eldest: Conflict

In Eldest the main conflict is that eargon needs to finish his training and to do so he has to travel to a far off land but right when he gets back there is a plan that the varden are doing and its a terrible idea but Eargon can't do anything about it. The Varden are planing to attack the empire and there is absolutely no chance that they can win, but the biggest problem is that Eargon is suppose to fight king Glabatorix and there is no way that he can beat him.

Eldest: Theme

I think that the theme in my book is Don't back down even when the odds are way against you. I chose this as my theme because in eldest and the whole series so far its eragon and the varden who are not a big group against King Glabotorix and his huge army. They are at such a disadvantage and it seems there is no possible way to win this war and thats why my theme fits along with the story

Eargon

       Eragon is a different type of character when he first started he wasn't adventurous accept for in the hunting that he does. He was the only one that would go hunting in this really weird mountain range called the Spine. The wild game there was awesome but it was very easy to get lost and never be found. But one day when he was in there he found a weird what he thought was a rock but it was really a dragon. It was that day that Eargon changed from a young farmer to a adventurous wanted man. Eargon has changed a lot as the book has gone on. He is now fighting against the empire and is the only chance the king will be stopped and if not then the world could end for ever in Alagasia.

Eldst The second book in the Eargon series

MY book Eldest, I chose this book becasue i read the first book Eargon and it was really good so i thought that i would read the next one. The book has a lot of action and it kind of reminds me of lord of the rings and i love lord of the rings so thats another reason that i like it. I get intrested in books that have lots of action. The best part is how well it follows one main storyline so its not very confusing. Lots of books branch off and get new conflicts but this one doesn't so far and it mas t easier to read
