Midwinterblood Post 4

I chose this book because none of the other books on this book sound interesting or they were crazy long. This book was perfect it was not too long and it sounded more interesting than all of the other books that were available. The thing that drew my attention about this book was how it was setup. I thought that it was cool that it was broken up into 8 different stories. When i saw that i decided that i should defiantly read it because i had never read a book like it so i decided to try it.
This was a different type of book. I think that honestly anyone could read it. Now everyone might not like it but its setup so different from all books that its a cool read. Its also got a different concept which makes it easy to get interested in so you wanna read on. Personally if i was to say, it was probably made for girls but it works for boys to there's killing and sorts of stuff that might interested a boy to read it. Overall its a great book and would be  totally fine if more people read it because its a great book.

Midwinterblood Post 3

The hooking point of this book for me was at the end of the first story. I liked it because it was the first point in the book that actually gives you a clue about how the rest of the book might play out. It hints at how he thinks that Eric one of the main characters in the book has lived this before. when you initially read that statement you would think like what the heck. so you read on hoping for some sort of explanation and that explanation doesn't come until the direct end of the book. So it makes you want to read on and it is just a great point in the book because the one story ends and another one begins with more characters.
Whats happening during this scene is Eric wakes up with his head feeling woozy but he finds a note that will supposedly give him the answer to what he came to the island for. So he does what this note tells him to and he finds exactly what the note says. He finds what he was looking for! But then he sees something that looks like a church and he walks to it and there's Tor and his little posy of people. All the sudden they grab him and rip his shirt off and then they trow him n a stone table. He's struggling but cant when and the all the sudden Tor gives a big curved knife to one of his men and they kill Eric. The story is then over and you move into the second story.

Midwinters Blood Post 2

In Midwinter's Blood in the first post i talked about how the book is split into eight different sections. In these sections the two main characters remain the same eric and Merle. But there personality's change in each of the stories. So its hard to explain complexity of he characters. The one thing that does seem to stay constant through the whole book is that eric is mostly an introvert and Merle is more of an extrovert.

The theme of the book is different from most in my thoughts but i would say that it is "No matter when or where it happened true love will find itself no matter what". i say this because in every story the love between eric and merle has always found itself.

The structure of this book is different. It's split into 8 different many stories that are all connected in its own little way. I love it i think its a great way to design a book but it is a little confusing because the stories close so fast.

Midwinters Blood

This book is like no other book i have read. Its very different. The main characters in the book are Eric or Merle. Now this book is structured differently compared to most books. its broken up into 8 different stories that all tie together through eric and merle. In all the stories so far they have been on an island called i the first 2 stories blessed island and in the 3rd and 4th story called blest island but its all the same island.
A conflict that might come about for the audience is understanding the book at the beginning and into the transition into the second story. I say this because its very hard to figure out whats happening and why the people on this island are so different. My prediction on why there so different is because there a little mysterious island in the North part of the world and its a pain to get there. I make a connection to another book when thinking about the people because there so different just like the people in Gregor the Overlander.

Final Prediction

Even though there's still a good chunk of my book left i want to make my predictions for it now. I think that Oromis is going to come out of hiding from his place in Ellsmerea, I think that Glabotorix is going to come fight with Eragon, After Murtagh is defeated, i think there is a Chance Rora will be the person to get the other egg left. But most importantly i think that Eragon will finish his training with Oromis and be strong Enough to defeat his foe Murtagh and turn him good and make him join the Varden.

The Elves

The Elves were the first people in all the land in the Eragon series, its like they control the land and whats happening in it. Well the Elves have been hidden in a forest for a long time now and are just now starting to come back out of the forest. The elves might be the only way that the varden will have a chance in succeeding.

The Varden

The Varden is the group of Rebels against the empire. They don't have odds on there side and with Murtagh and thorn there chances are lowered even more. I wanted to tell you about the Varden because there so important, and i mention them in multiple posts but i never really say what they are. So the Varden is led by Nasuada who is the daughter of Ajahad the leader that died in the first book. The Varden was started by Brom who died in the first book but still his legacy lives on through the Varden The Varden won the Battle of Burning plains and is having great success. There problem is that they don't know if Eragon is strong enough to fend off the Murtagh and Thorn, and Glabotorix and Shrunkin. these will all remain mystery's until finally they meet and there's a victor.

Eragon Alone

After Eragon and Roran had traveled to Helgrind and defeated the Ra'zac and sent everyone back saying that he had stuff to finish he goes off by himself. He kills the last Ra'zac and take The Butcher  Sloan with him. He decides not to kill Sloan even with the way he acts but to send him on a journey to the Elves. Eragon starts on his travels back to the varden that are in Surda, but like always he gets himself into multiple dangerous situations. He eventually meets up with Arya who leads him back to Varden and he is finally reunited with his dragon. Eragon was so happy to see her especially after being away for so long.

Murtagh and Thorn

After Murtagh had been taken away from The varden by the Kull they tried to find him but they had no luck and came to the conclusion that he had died. Well during the battle of burning plains Eragon encounters another Dragon rider that was not Oromis, or Glabtorix himself. IT WAS MURTAGH. If you know anything about these books you would think that theres no way. But there is the Kull took him to Glabotorix and one of the Dragon eggs hatched for him and he named that Dragon Thorn. They were trained and then sent into battle to fight and capture Eragon. Murtagh is successful in defeating Eragon but show Mercy to his brother and does not take him to the dictator king. Murtagh and Thorn may have won that round but I'm not to sure they will when the next one.

Daily Struggles

When you read through the series of Eragon you noticed that he goes through many struggles. Especially the big one of trying to save everyone in all of his land. But there are two things that have been bothering him for awhile now. The first one is with Arya. Its been happening for awhile now(since the second book) but he has been in love with Arya and he tryed to do something about it multiple times ubt she rejects him and hates talking about it even with Saphria. Eragon will be alone and thinkoing about it or he will see hjer start thinking abbout it, its bad its all he does and he jnows that he shouldn't but he just can't help it and i think that evemtully it could end bad for him unles he stops. His other problem is with killling all the people that he has. It hanuts him it sits there eating away at him and he knows that its not healthy and that what he is doing has drove people insane before. So not only does he not llike it but it sarting to drive him insane and he knows that it needs to stop before it is determental to everyone aropound him.

The Family Reunion

After the battle of Burning plains it was time that Eragon and Roran had got to have a talk about everything that had happened. The last time Eragon had seen Roran he was leaving there home so that he could start a life and get enough money to marry the love of his life Katrina. So when they finally got to talk it was bitter sweet. Roran was still mad at Eragon for being the one that started the mess that killed his father. But when they came together and Eragon got to explain that he had no choice and that he wanted to help him but couldn't. Then they both talked about their journeys and told how they got here. It all ended up good and safe which was great because things could have been much much worse than they were, they weren't even bad.

A New writing Style

I enjoy reading and i have read quite a few books, but i have never seen the type of writing craft that Christopher Paolini uses. At different times throughout his books(starting in the second book) he has used a style where he follows three different characters at a time. He focus 2 chapters about Eragon, then 2 chapters about his cousin Roran, and then he focus's 2 chapters on Nasuada. I like the way that he does it because it keeps you wanting to read because he ends each chapter as a cliff hanger. The best part of it all is that like near the end of the book he brings like all 3 together for a huge battle against the empire. That was in the second book but the way he blended the 3 characters together worked perfectly. Right now Nasuada and Roran are together in Surda, while Eragon is away with Arya trying to get back to Surda. When they get back things are going to get very interesting.

Nasuada: Character Review

In the first book Eargon Nasuada does not have a big role, she is just the leader of the varden's daughter. She is a teenager and is really nice to Eragon while the are in Fathern dur. Her whole life was changed the day that her father died.
In the second book Eldest Nasuada is almost forced to change and become the leader of the Varden. She is about 18 at this point and not many people can make the decision's or have the idea's that nasuada has. Near the middle of the 2nd book Nasuada decides to move the entire Varden from the mountain deeps that there in right now into Surda the only place in the whole empire that free from there grips. when it was all said and done it was the best decision she made and it turns out that Nasuada was a better leader and really has defined herself as a true leader.

Funeral Expenses leave mother's body in Limbo

Before Dorothy Johnson died she put 50,000 dollars in the bank to keep it for her funerals and the left overs went to her kids. She was going to leave the money to her 2 older kids but they were in jail and when she died the money was given to a 16 year boy who was her youngest son. the best line is "If our electricity was turned off, she'd get the lights back on. She'd keep food on the table . I don't want to let her down now." Krista Ramsey writing style was fluent and stayed the same throughout the whole paper. It was written good but i don't think that it was anything special the diction and syntax wasn't crazy impressive but it was still a good paper.

What do you consider your writing style to be?

Where did you go to college?

Predictions for the Future

I have many predictions for what is going to happen and I'm going to tell you some of them. So my first prediction is that Eragon's cousin Roran is going to end up having a dragon. I'm not sure if it will be this book but I think that it might happen in the last book. On the cover of the last book there is a green dragon and I'm pretty sure that is the last egg that has not hatched. My next prediction goes along with my last one sort of because the only way that Roran could the one to get that dragon would be to have that egg stolen and that's what i believe will happen and then it will continue to bring down the evil king.

Why I Choose Brisinger

I choose Brisinger for many reasons and i will tell you about them. The first one was that i had read the first book and the second book in the series and each book the writing skills of the author has gotten much better. Each book was very good but like i said the authors skills in each one got much better as each book went on. I have not even read very much of Brisinger and its the third book in the series and it has exceed my expectations! Another reason i choose it was because my brother already read the entire series and he said that it was very good so i continued to read it. The final reason i read was because its the type of reading that i like and its been exactly what i like. Anyone who thinks that maybe they should read the Eragon series, they definitely should its a very good book.

Brisinger

Brisinger is the third book in the series of Eragon. It is a great book so far, it picked up right where it left off. after the great war of the last book Eragon and Roran decided that they needed to go rescue the people of the Carhavall. As things have finally settled down Eragon knows that they haven't due to how strong Murtagh was. If the characters make one wrong move it could lead to a total domination of the world by the empire.
